Starting over is hard. I get it. I talk a lot about relocating to Oregon, but I realize I’ve never told you my full relocation journey. But the truth is well I was born and raised in Portland I relocated and moved to Spain for a year. After that, I realize that Spain wasn’t right for me so I tried Costa Rica instead. After a year of Costa Rica I realized I needed to get my tookie back to Portland and finish university which is exactly what I did. I understand what it means to start over when you relocate. I get how scary it is to move somewhere where you don’t understand the nuances of the culture, and in my case, I relocated internationally to places that I didn’t even speak the language.
In this video, I wanna tell you a little bit more about my own relocation journey across Oregon but also internationally. As we chat you’ll be seeing video footage from my past 6 years in Salem. My hope is that you’ll come to understand that, taking a leap of faith, when you relocate is part of the experience that makes it so worthwhile, even though it’s incredibly scary.
